How to take care of your toys?
Cleaning these toys is very important. It will help prevent bacterial growth. Please wash before and after each use. The following describes several ways to clean them dependent on the toy.
Vibrators
For waterproof ones, just rinse with mild to hot running water and soap. Dove soap is a good alternative as it's mild and non-allergic. But you can use whatever mild soap you have in the house, or just ask your local pharmacist. Then wipe it completely with a dry towel.
Non-waterproof ones requires a little more care. Cover the battery cap area with a dry paper towel or face towel. This will prevent water from going into the battery area and causing malfunction. Once you are satisfied it's clean, just wipe it down with a dry towel. It's best to remove the batteries when not in use as it prevents accidental running and thus ruining of the motor. Also good idea to leave the battery cap off as it dries the moisture inside.
Finally, for both waterproof and non-waterproof ones, it's a good idea to wrap them in a clean, dry towel to prevent dust and mold spores from forming.
Pumps
Cleaning the pump is easy. Just remove any removable parts, rinse them with warm, soapy water and dry them off with a towel. For the cylinder, again using warm, soapy water to clean the insides. It's best to use a long narrow brush to remove the debris. Air dry the cylinder. When you are satifisfied it's completely dry, put it back together again.
Butt Plugs or Beads
Can be cleaned in hot boiling water for 3 minutes, and then with bleach. If you don't want to clean the plug, you can just wrap a latex condom around the plug and just throw it in the garbage after use.
Masturbators / Sleeves / Rings
Just rinse with mild to hot running water and soap. Dove soap is a good alternative as it's mild and non-allergic. Then wipe it completely with a dry towel.
